If you know me very well, you know I’m a bit, well… plant obsessed. Being a farmer’s daughter and all, I really didn’t have a chance. But honestly, I don’t know how one can’t love to watch things grow. A humble little seed having been dropped in earth trod upon by man and beast springs from the darkness and reaches for the sun. It’s tiny fingers become arms, legs, trunk and stem as the creature is fed by light, rain and all that makes up the ground. What could be more beautiful than being witness to elfin leaves unfurling right before your eyes? I promise you, there is magic in what sprouts. Whether you find it in delicate veined blossoms, a forest of onion tops or in listening to the secrets whispered by the trees. It’s there. You’ve only to look, listen, taste and feel to fall under its spell.
